Patrick Somerville

Pat was a larger than life guy! Born to Jim and Joanne Somerville, he was kid number six in a family of nine children. The Somerville’s have always been a kind and welcoming family, and Pat was no exception.

He married Diana and together they have 3 children, Amanda, Patrick Jr and Scott. Family was the most important thing to Pat. Pat loved his daughter Amanda and they had a special bond. Pat always held “his little girl’ close to his heart. Pat also loved his two sons very much and they enjoyed hunting, fishing and guy talk together. It was always so joyful to hear their loud boisterous laughter. Pat and his family hosted several exchange students and kept in touch with many of them. Pat enjoyed going to two of the girls’ weddings and visiting many of the families of the exchange students.

After retirement, Pat and Diana had the opportunity to travel around most of the USA in their RV spending time in National Parks and in Texas. It was a special time.

One of Pat’s biggest joys were his grandchildren. Oh how he loved those darlings. He loved to teach them about farming, his cows, and his bees. One of his all time favorite things to do was to dress up as Santa and give the children gifts at the family Christmas parties.

Pat’s passing was so sudden and we are all still working through it. He will always be close in our hearts, loved and missed very much!
