In Memory of
There are some people in this world who shine so brightly that even when they leave us far too soon, their light never fades.
McKinley Jo was one of those rare souls.
“She lived loud, loved hard, laughed freely, and left this world a kinder place. McKinley’s light wasn’t just bright—it was contagious. And in every drawing, every song, every trail she rode, and in every memory , she still shines. 💜”
Born on April 20, 2006, McKinley touched the lives of everyone around her. Though her time on earth was short, her impact will last a lifetime. On April 9, 2022, surrounded by the love of her family, McKinley gained her wings after complications from an asthma attack— but her spirit remains in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
McKinley was a bright light in every room, with a heart as big as her personality. She loved deeply and freely—her friends and family meant everything to her, and it showed in every laugh, every hug, and every moment she shared. Her love wasn’t quiet; it was fierce and proud, and the kind you never forget.
Strong, independent, and unapologetically herself, McKinley stood up for what she believed in. She was never afraid to speak her truth or defend someone in need. Her strength wasn’t just in her beliefs—it was in her compassion, her generosity, and in the final, selfless act of donating her organs to help others live. Even in her final moments, McKinley was giving.
She filled her days with creativity and adventure—reading, drawing, listening to music, and spending time with those she loved. She found joy on the back of a 4-wheeler, around a campfire at camp, or at Saturday night card games with the family. It’s in those moments—those giggles around the table, those quiet rides through the woods—that her memory will linger most.
McKinley Jo was one-of-a-kind. Her laughter, her kindness, her fire, and her love have left a mark on all of us. Though we miss her deeply, we carry her light forward in our hearts, in our stories, and in how we choose to love one another.
She may be gone from our sight, but she is never gone from our hearts.
We love and miss you kiddo- Mom, Dad, Bub, Ellie and everyone who knew and loved you
