Gregory Matics

Greg was a loving husband to his beloved wife, Bev, for 44 years and a proud “girl Dad,” to Scotti and Sierra. His pride and joy were his “Fab Five,”grandchildren, Nora, Jaxon, Katy, Dylan, and Kori. He was above all, a Christian and his faith was the foundation of knowing his body was simply a vessel. This belief gave him the pride in becoming an organ donor, which he talked about with his family throughout his life. His wishes were always to become an organ donor in whatever capacity he could. He wanted to give back to others after his death, because he knew his body was just a temporary home. His eternal, everlasting home is Heaven. We, as his family our proud of his choice to be an organ, tissue, and cornea donor and we look forward to the knowledge of how many lives benefitted from his gift. We are thankful he walks, pain-free, on streets of gold with his parents, his brother, and his great-granddaughter. We encourage others who aren’t an organ donor, to please consider becoming one. Tragedy can bring hope.
